The Future in Motion

From 12:00 - 14:00 the alternative vehicle exhibition "The Future in Motion" will be held in front of the Auroville Solar Kitchen.
The following exhibitors have agreed to participate:

Honesty Cycle House - Pondicherry. Showing their full range of bicycles, including the new Firefox range of mountainbikes of which nearly 50 are already sold in Auroville. As a special Earth Day promotion, when you order or buy your Firefox mountain bike on Earth Day itself, you will get a Rs 999.00 discount!

Ekovehicles - Bangalore. Electric two-wheelers.

The famous Auroville Bio-Bullet, running on a mixture of diesel and straight vegetable oil (SVO) will again be on display, and will be joined (if it is ready in time!) by a 3-wheeler Bio-Trike running on the first Made-in-Auroville Biodiesel!

Mahindra Eco Mobiles Ltd (MEML) - Already a familiar sight on Auroville roads, the Mahindra Bijlee electric 3-wheelers latest version will be show-cased on Earth Day.

REVA - This enormously successful compact electric car is also already seen regularly on Auroville roads. We expect a few proud owners to take their REVA to the Solar Kitchen on Earth Day for display.
